Change is coming for Veterans!
Updated: Nov 14, 2019
Happy Veterans Day! This morning, November 11, Steven Paletz unveiled his first of many initiatives for a stronger Colorado, tiny home communities for Colorado's homeless veterans!
Steven's full post is below:
On Veterans Day we give thanks to the individuals who risked their lives to grant us the freedom to thrive in our beautiful country. We must do more to honor their sacrifice. Many veterans return from duty and face significant challenges at home, battling PTSD, addiction, and/or homelessness.
One of the ways I plan to help veterans is to bring multiple tiny home communities for veterans to Colorado. These communities provide transitional housing for homeless veterans to help get them back on their feet. This has successfully been implemented in other parts of the country, and I believe it can be accomplished in Colorado as well.
This is just one of the many initiatives I'm working on to address homelessness across our state.
If you believe in a better future for our veterans and homeless population, I humbly ask you to help me change things for the better by donating to: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/paletzforcolorado
